About the role:

We’re looking for a soft furnishings guru to join our Projects team and aid us in delivering exceptional service to one of our key clients – a leader in Aged Care in New Zealand and Victoria Australia. You will be responsible for ensuring all window furnishings are ready for village fit-outs, this will involve preparing accurate documents for manufacturers and ensuring that all residents have window furnishings installed on the day they move in.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calculate and order fabrics
  • Prepare curtain and blind order forms
  • Window hardware order forms
  • Accurate completion of drapery worksheets
  • Liaising with fitters and workrooms

About you:

This administration-based role will require you to be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite and have effective verbal and written skills. We are also looking for someone who is confident in talking to a range of people (ages and hearing abilities) both over phone, video calls and in person. Additionally, we use applications of: Excel, WorkflowMax, Qwilr, ClickUp and an AppleMac PC, full training will be provided.

A candidate who will thrive in this position would be someone who:

  • Has a background in a similar industry as this role has specific knowledge and skills required
  • Knowledge of fabric in particular drapery
  • Knowledge of window furnishings and window hardware (tracks, brackets, roller blinds, venetians etc)
  • Knowledge of Windoware, Luxaflex or similar products desirable
  • Able to converse with fitters and workrooms alike
  • Familiar with problem-solving

Please note this position is administration only. Whilst an interest in interiors could be helpful, this job will not require any Interior Design qualifications.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm.
